Disk Cleanup Tool Stops Responding

About a year ago I fixed this problem by going to MS
Knowledge Base Article 812930. I made a note of the
article number but not the entire article thinking I
could look it up again. I have the problem again but MS
has removed this article. In its place they list 823302.
I follwed the steps under 'resolution' and now it not
only stops responding but will not even initiate. Anyone
with success in solving this problem?

Try opening cmd prompt,in cmd type:cleanmgr /REVERT
In xp expertzone page 5 months ago they had an article on
virtual memory,the author whom wrote it is at:http://aumha.org/win5/a/xpvm.php
They had a download to fix that,or at thier partners linked
site,never tried it but if microsoft featured thier article they must
be trusted.
