Dialup connection fails for Guest account.

I'm using XP Home Edition. My wife and I have password enabled accounts and
"private" personal files. We are going to have some friends visiting soon so
I enabled the Guest account for their use. The Guest account seems to
basically work fine except that the dial up connection fails for Guest. In
particular, when Guest double clicks on the icon for the dial-up connection
nothing happens. The cursor flashes an hourglass briefly but that is it.
There is no message.

I assume the problem is related to Guest's limited permissions (both my wife
and I are administrators and dialup works fine from both of our accounts),
however I'm not sure where to start looking. Any thoughts?

TIA

Don't bother with the "guest" account - the name is misleading and is not
really intended for actual use. Set up a Limited user account (call it
"Visitor" or some such name) and use that instead. Things will be ever so
much easier!

Hmmm. Okay, thanks for the advice. I'll give that a shot.
