When I turn my pc on I get a pop up on the toolbar which says :-
Devices or applications disabled#'Direct CD' will cause windows to become
unstable
Windows has prevented these drivers from loading

On doing that I go to the help and support centre that displays the following
Issue Description:

A driver is installed that causes stability problems with your system. This
driver will be disabled. Please contact the driver manufacturer for an update
that is compatible with this version of Windows.

Contact Information:

Available Patch: http://www.roxio.com/en/jhtml/xpupdate.jhtml?location=update

I dont know then if the driver is installed and disabled or not installed at
all, which ever I dont want it and how do I then prevent the pop up from keep
coming when I turn the pc on ?

I get the same type of message. I would like to know if there is anything I
should do. Basically, the message says to me that when I tried to install my
old version of Roxio's Easy CD Creator, Windows prevented its drivers from
loading because it could have caused Windows instability. So, what's the
problem? Do I have to do something to clean up my computer? Why does this
message continue to come up everytime I turn on my computer if there is not
something I have to do about it? And, if there is something I should do, why
can't I find any direction for doing so?
