desk top users regarding programmes

I have installed a couple of programmes eg `windowwasher` `spybot` They were
installed via my desktop but do not appear on the other desktops. How do I
get a programme to be available via all desktops on this PC. Is it possibly
down to where I make the install or what.

Hi Juco,

Move the desktop shortcut from your user profile to the allusers one.

From:
C:\Documents and Settings\<username>\Desktop

To:
C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Desktop

If they are unable to run it this way, then the program likely needs to be
installed under their profile. This happens with some older software.
