Defender won't update...

Downloaded latest version yesterday and installed it ok on 5 machines. 6th
machine won't update after installation and gives this error message:

"Windows Defender was unable to complete the update: 0x80070422. The
service cannot be started, either because it is disabled or because it has no
enabled devices associated with it."

I searched the knowledge base and didn't find an article addressing this.

Any ideas?

Compare from one of the five machines the services, against the 6th.
