Date Navigator Only Shows One Year in Advance

Supposedly there is a KB article on this. A user noticed
that the Date Navigator in the calendar view only shows
days with appoinments bolded, up to one year in advance.
Someone told me that there is an article stating that
Outlook only shows up to one year in advance and 2 months
in the past as bolded due to memory problems. Any ideas?

Depends, are you in an Exchange environment?

You can alter the information published in Tools-> Options-> tab
Preferences-> button Calendar Options-> button Free/Busy Options...
