Scheduling meeting rooms a year in advance in Outlook 2007

When Outlook 2007 was installed we were told you could only reserve meeting
rooms or resources 6 months in advance. We have a need to reserve rooms in
advance for 12 months and sometimes longer. Is there anyway to reserve a
resource past the 6 month timeframe???
We moved from GroupWise to Outlook about a year ago so we are still learning
its' capabilities...
