Date navigator does not show bolded

I have users that do not see days with appointments as bolded in the date navigator of other users calendars.
They use Outlook 2002, and both the target calendar and the user have the setting "Bolded dates in Date Navigator represents days containing items" in View - Current View -Customize Current View - Other Settings.
We have run the CleanFreeBusy option, we have taken away and put back the Bolded -option, but nothing works.
Anything we still could try?

Is this on a current date range? Only 2 months past and 10 months ahead are
bolded.

Yes, the date range is current. No appointments, even for tomorrow and next week don't show for ordinary users.
For users with administrator rights they are bolded, but for a standard user not. It is a terminal server surrounding. (sorry forgot to mention it earlier)
