Critical Update KB832894

When I try to install critial update KB832894 it tells me
I need Internet Explorer 6.0 Service Pack 1 installed, but
a I already do. Any suggestions? My OS is Windows ME.

Still haven't gotten it fixed. I'm still working on it.

OK, you should be able to install it. However, your reply is a concern
because it indicates you have /none/ of the earlier Cumulative (Security)
Patches for IE installed.

Please use Windows Update to get the patches and updates your machine should
have instead of picking and chosing the ones you think it needs:
http://windowsupdate.microsoft.com.

To assure a clean install, your anti-virus application should be disabled
and all other running processes closed before going to Windows Update and
when downloading/installing from any MS page.

fatdragon

I have always used Windows Update to get the patches and
updates. I have never picked and chose which ones I think
I need. Any advise? Should I uninstall IE and reinstall?
