Recently, one of my users started getting this error when trying to click on
a link to send an email. First it was trying to send using Eudora, but
everywhere on his computer Outlook was marked as the Default email program:
Once I unistalled Eudora i got the follwoing error:

Error:
Could not perform this operation because the default mail client is not
properly installed.

I uninstalled Eudora, and Office 2003, and reinstalled Office 2003, and the
error still remains.

Any thoughts?

I have the same problem, even using Outlook. Any time I try to contact a web
site link, I get that message and a torrent of attempted emails - usually
number in the 50s. To stop it, I have to close Outlook.
