Coolwebpage

There is a bug that keeps changing my internet explorer
registry setting. It changes my home page & search bar to
Cool webpage. I keep deleting them from my registry as
mentioned in Microsoft Knowledge Base Article - 320159
(Home Page Setting Changes unexpectedly, or You Cannot
Change Your Home Page Setting), but the Cool Webpage keep
coming back.
What is amazing this page keep coming back even though
their host website keeps changing? Every time it uses
different web address that lead to the same home page.
The computer virus scan (by Norton Antivirus Corporate
Edition with all the live updates) does not detect any
virus in my computer.
How can I detect who is changing my internet explorer
registry setting.

You are a victim of Spyware. Delete all your cookies and
temporary files. Go to Zdnet and download Adaware &/or
spybot search and destroy. Both are free and work well. I
use both regularly. We've started using them at the
school I volunteer at and some of our "new" computers
have hundreds of entries!

Check your system for other "hijackware".

HijackThis (http://www.spywareinfo.com/~merijn/files/hijackthis.zip) is the
preferred tool to use these days. It will help to both identify and remove
any hijackware/spyware. **Post your files to
http://forums.spywareinfo.com/, not here.**

Also update your virus definitions and then run a full system scan. From
now on, do both daily.
