Computer freezing in Internet Explorer

Hello.

I am running IE 6 SP1 on a Windows ME system. A few weeks
ago my computer would lock up when I tried to click signin
on Ebay. I fixed that by emptying the Temporary Internet
Files folder. Now it the computer locks up when I click
Find A Zip on the usps.com web site. I emptied the
Temporary Internet Files folder but it doesn't do any
good. I have also totally reinstalled IE 6 and Java
v1.4. Any suggestions that you can provide will be very
appreciated.

Check for parasites.

IE 6.

Try this: Tools > Internet Options > Advanced > Browsing
Uncheck the Enable 3rd party browser extensions

If this clears your problem then find out who the culprit(s) is/are with
these tools.

p.s Reset the 3rd party browser setting.
