Bought a new computer from circuit city, got a great deal on the demo,
well, anyway, I want to change the administrator name. I just don't
like 'Circuit City' as the admin name.
TIA

Create a new admin user with a name to your liking and use it instead.

Then how do I get rid of the other one, and what about the setting?

Control panel > Administrator tools > Local security policy >
Local policies > Security options > Accounts: Rename administrator.

Just a quick note, that didn't work, My computer administrator is still
"Circuit City" on one machine, and "HP_Administrator" on the other.

Not sure what you mean by you lost everything. One option is to restore
from a backup. Another option is try a system restore.
