CD-RW

I am running Windows XP Home and have an internal Samsung
CD-RW burner. I am using Memorex CD-RW disks. I can
easily burn one or multiple files to the CD using Roxio.
What I can't do is delete a selected file from the CD.
The files are burned as read-only and the only way I can
remove a file is to erase the entire disk. There has got
to be a way to delete only a select group of files.

there are two ways to do that. Either format the disks for packet writing,
in which case they will act just like another HDD, or don't finalise the
disk when burning.

Sorry thats the way they work !
If you use Direct CD in roxio it formats the disc like a
floppy so you can do this but you loose about 100MB of
space.
Get rid of Roxio its unreliable get NERO.
