I realise I have been really stupid with the way I wrote the message. I
should have said I was looking for the cheapest. I buy my CD-Rs for 13p each
and was looking for a similar bargain
Sorry

Wilkinsons sell them fairly cheaply.

Virtually any office supply store, and even most department stores,
carry these.

Better change your supplier. Any decent office supply chain sells them in
abundance.

I have checked out all the suggested suppliers are all are between 40 and 50
p each and sometimes not including delivery. It looks as if CD-RW disks are
basically expensive compared with CD-R disks.
I will probably continue using CD-R disks for my monthly incremental backup
even although the size of the recorded data could be quite small per disk
used.

CD-RW disks can be had almost free in the USA if you wait for a special.
Even DVD-RW are less than $1 US each. Even with the normal excessive prices
in the UK, a DVD-RW backup would be a bargain compared to 40 to 50 p per
CD-RW.

By the way, is there some surcharge added to recording media in the UK to
cover the supposed loss of revenue by content producers?
