Am in the UK. I have been using CD-Rs for my backup but since I have changedPhil Anthropist said:No, I don't know which country you are in. But don't rely on CD-RW disks
as your only media, always have backups on more reliable media.

my backup software I have to use a new disk every time I do an incremental
backup no matter how small the file size.
With my previous backup system I could add to the CD-R disk. I seem to
remember that the software altered disks to be able to take additional data.
I don't know if this is readily available.

As a further query, is there any advantage in using DVD-R disks instead of
CD-R disks?
