Can't use Scanner Epson Perfection 1250

Senial sr. citizen floundering!!
Just installed WindowsXP.
Tried using my Epson Perfection Scanner 1250.
Up pops a popup saying...
Open Driver
Tvichw32
Open Error
ALSO
secon Popup saying.....
ASPI Driver Error
