Can't see slide in Normal View

Hello,

I have a problem I've never seen before. In one of my presentations when I
am in Normal View I can see the slide in the left column but it doesn't show
up in the main screen. It shows up in slide sorter view and the full screen
but not normal view. If I clisck in the main screen I can select objects but
even if I copy and paste them to anor presentation they do not show up. If I
copy the slide and paste it into another presentation it also does not show
up. I'm running PPT 2003. Any advice?

Thank you.

There are probably two things happening that presents as a totally different
problem.

You probably have an object way, way, way far off the slide *AND*
PowerPoint is helping by displaying the "center" of the objects and slide.
Because the object is so far off of the slide, the 'center' is in the middle
of nowhere.

First, select an object on the slide and set the zoom to 10% (View => Zoom
=> 10%). Try selecting each of the objects sequentially on the slide
(Select the slide than hit tab to advance thru each object). When you find
one without the slide under it, either delete it, or move it onto the slide.

I have done some work on this presentation and figured out that there are
two slides that create the problem. When I delete them, close and reopen the
presentation, the problem is gone. The two slides are filled with animations
and images I captured from the web. The thing is that the animations are
also on other slides in the presentation and they remain after I make the
deletion but the presentation works anyway.

What do you think?

Thanks for your help.
