Moving between slides in Normal View

In PPT 2007, Normal View:
When I click the sidebar to move between slides, the slide image scrolls
up/down the screen before going to the next slide. Thus it takes 2-3 clicks
to move between slides instead of just 1. I tried different zoom settings,
including FIT TO WINDOW and it still happens. There are no objects off the
slide boundary. These are the same files I used to view with PPT 2003 and it
didn't do this.
I don't want to go into slideshow; I just want to work in normal view and
not have to perform a ton of extra clicks. Suggestions?

Aha! There was something on the Master. The object didn't show on the
slides with SELECT ALL, so that would have been hard to find. Working good
now, thanks much!!
