Slide show presented on 2nd display does not "track" with slide so

I'm confused by this. We have a strong preference for the "slide sorter"
view in our primary display while displaying the presentation fullscreen on
the 2nd display. No matter what we do - the "selected slide" in the sorter
does not "track" with the currently displayed slide in the presentation.

We do see this "tracking" while the primary display is in the "normal" view
(although not always - again very frustrating and confusing).

Why not the same behavior in sorter view???

Thanks for the quick response. The powershow option looks great but . . .
$99 to fix a basic problem with powerpoint????

I just can't understand the reasoning behind the behavior I'm asking about -
why *wouldn't* the selected slide track during a presentation regardless of
what "view" is slected in the primary display?

regards - John
