Can't remove systemworks...HELP!

Hello all. I installed the trial version of Norton Systemworks 2006. The
trial period expired, and I want to remove it. However, when I try to
uninstall, the uninstall begins, runs a couple minutes, then says "Install
Failed." The prog then takes about 10 minutes to close down. This happens
every time I have tried to remove it. HELP! I not cannot remove NSW 2006.
What do I do?

Reinstall it to the same folder. Reboot. Uninstall. Reboot.

That would be a no-go. Any attempt to re-install would be thwarted by a
Trial period expired or alike message.

Many thanks, all. The norton removal tools did the trick. That was so much
trouble I don't think I'll use Norton again!

You can likely reinstall it. You just can't use it to get current updates.

Many thanks, all. The norton removal tools did the trick. That was so
much trouble I don't think I'll use Norton again!

Wise decision. Norton is a resource hog, interferes with other
installations, and is no better in functionality than free products.

Of course, we're all waiting breathlessly for Micros~1's venture into this
arena (due later this year).
