Can't install MS Office 2000 Pro

When I try to install MS Office 2000 Pro on my new Dell
computer with Windows XP I get error 1913 can not update
the ini file. Win.ini. See if file exists. Dell in
unable to help and suggests contacting microsoft. Thanks
