can't drag hyperlinks

i installed the following updates and now i can no longer drag and drop
shortcuts from one ie or oe window to another,or from OE6 to IE6.
Is there something i need to reset or do i have to uninstall one or more of
the updates? i can still drag them to create a shortcut on the desktop.

using XP Home IE6 SP1 OE6(this is one of the reasons i am still not

What type of hyperlinks? (e.g. HTTP://, Javascript, HTTPS, File://?)

Go to IE tools, internet options, security. Highlight internet zone and then
click on the custom level button. Is the drag and drop option enabled? You
will need to scroll down a fair way to see it.

Sandi that helped IE but i still can't drag links from OE6. I do miss that
function.
