Cannot view saved shockwave file

All of this is using IE 6 to view shockwave files. IE 6 is current and I
have installed the latest version of the Shockwave player. When I view a
shockwave file online or when somebody gives me a shockwave file either
directly or as an attachment to e-mail everything works fine.
When I copy a shockwave file from Temporary Internet Files or when I make a
copy of a shockwave file that came as an attachment to e-mail I have the
following problem.
The bar comes up saying that the file access has been restricted. I choose
to allow the file to come through and another window warns about script and
Active X content. I click to allow the content and the screen remains blank.

Hi,
If this is XP SP2, try this (I'm guessing...)
Internet Options> Advanced> Security> check "Allow active content to run in
files on My Computer ."

If that setting doesn't allow the SW file to run or if the OS is not XP SP2,
post back.
