cannot send photo from my pictures

I cannot send e-mail from My Pictures nor from Documents; The dialog box
opens to reduce pictures size--but the Outlook Express message box doesn't
open as in the past.
Running Xp home, explorer 7 beta, Outlook express 6--also running Windows
Onecare. all info to correct this problem will be greatly appreciated.

Outlook express is my default mail handler

I cannot guarantee it, but the following
method may work:

How do I make OE my default mail client?

Go to...Start / Run...and enter the following:

msimn /reg

Click...OK...

Then open Internet Explorer and go to...
Tools / Internet Options / Programs tab...
and set OE as the default mail (and news)
program.
