I Don't get the "Send Pictures via E-mail dialog box"

When I want to email a photo, I click on the: Send To
Mail Recipient. XP immediately opens a new mail in
Outlook Express. I have never seen the "Send Pictures via
E-mail dialog box". How can I get this dialog box to
appear?

Try this:

go to...Start / Run and type:

"REGSVR32 SHIMGVW.DLL"
(without the quotes)(Yes, there's
a space between 2 and S)

Click...OK.

Thank you John! That did the trick. I don't know what
else it may have changed, but I am happy now. I have
another problem with my CF reader that will always bring
up only the "Folder view" unless there is a .AVI file and
it will start the media player only. No matter whether I
tell it to prompt me - or if I select a specific option,
the result is the same. Never has worked. Thanks

You're welcome and thanks for the update.

I don't have a solution to the other problem....
hopefully someone else can help you with that.

I am having the exact same problem- the pictures are
huge and I cannot seem to discover any way to resize them-
the instructions in help say the send pictures via e-
mail dialogue bos should appear and it does not- I have
tried searching for a file with those words in it and no
luck- somebody tell us how to do this please- thanks

Might be even simpler. The "Send Pictures via E-Mail" dialog box doesn't appear until a picture or pictures are selected. Select a picture and see if the option then appears.
