cannot move mails from inbox to sub-folders

i cannot move my mails from my inbox to sub-folders,
everytime i try doing that i get this error "CANT MOVE THE
ITEMS. THE ITEM COULD NOT BE MOVED.IT WAS EITHER ALREADY
MOVED OR DELETED, OR ACCESS WAS DENIED."

how do i resolve this

Try moving it with the Preview Pane off

Try clearing your Deleted Items folder

Run scanpst.exe against your pst-file
