can send out mail but cannot recieve mail

i have windows mail for vista and whenever i'm expect email from other
people, the mail never shows up evan if i give the person who's emailing me
my email adress and i give it to them corectly. but, i can send mail to other
people. please help, thnx!

What happens when you send an email to yourself? Does it arrive in your
Inbox after a few minutes?
