What did you try?

Who is your ISP?

What is the part of your email address after the @ ONLY please.

Do you get any error messages, if so copy and paste them to your reply.

I have deleted the account and set it up again . Turned off my Kaspersky
Anti Virus - but only whilst I tried to receive the mail once. I can send
messages ok. have empied the deleted and junk mail folders. My ISP is
Breathe.com and @breathe.com is the end of the address. Thank you

OK, did you close and re-open WM between removing and rebuilding the
account, if not try once more.

Can you log in to the breathe.com website to check if you have any mail on
the server waiting to be delivered.
While there check the junk folder to see if server side filter settings are
marking your mail as Spam?

Have you contacted your ISP to enquire if they are having any problems?

From http://support.breatheinternet.com/

13th August 2009

We apologise for the ongoing issues with email: additional
servers went live on the 31st July and also at the beginning of this week
and have ensured that a backlog of emails that had been queued could come
through to mailboxes. Unfortunately there is still a delay and congestion
which is causing various intermittent connection and download faults for
email despite the addition of additional mailboxes to the server cluster.

We hope to have this fully resolved as soon as possible
and our technical staff are working towards this goal currently.

Thank you so much! Just got in from work hence my absence. Did look on the
breathe site but didn't see this vital piece of info. Hopefully it should
sort itself out now and I won't waste any more time. Thank you again - an
excellent service.

Hi I hope for your sake that they get it sorted soon.

By the way this is not a service, this is peer to peer support, users
helping other users.

Why not set yourself up with a free live mail, hotmail or gmail account, so
that you always have access to email?

Get back if you need help with the above.

What happens when you send an email to yourself?

Have you checked that account via webmail to verify there are
messages waiting to be downloaded from the server?
When you initiate a send/receive, does it appear to go through the
motions of contacting the server? After a mail check, does it say
"No new messages" in the status bar?
Also, under Tools, Accounts, select that account, Properties, on the
General tab make sure "Include this account..." is checked.
