Can I get rid of Macromedia Flash Player?

Walter R.

In Internet Explorer, I am getting a lot of ads based on Macromedia Flash
Player.

How can I get rid of those ads? If I get rid of them by getting rid of
Flashplayer, will it effect my ability to access important information on
other sites?

How do I delete Macromedia Flashplayer?

Thank you

Instead of removing Flash, you should look into some ad-blocking
software.

Uninstall the POS, I did.

Sheesh, Adobe bought Macromedia, Adobe will probably make Flash an even
worse POS.

You can use Flash Killer in SpywareBlaster to disable it.

SpywareBlaster
[[SpywareBlaster doesn't scan and clean for spyware - it prevents it from
ever being installed.
The most important step you can take is to secure your system. And
SpywareBlaster is the most powerful protection program available.]]
