hmm, I am in South Australia at the end of long piece of
wet string, it may be selecting against huge latency
which could explain all the dialups from Sri Lanka , Zud Afrika
and Venezuela
or maybe something more serious, maybe I just uploaded
several gigs of rubbish torrents ,eep, oh gnashing of teeth
....
I am seeding

1 jpeg
http://www.members.optusnet.com.au/trochilus/torrenttest.torrent
half a meg 7 jpegs , just some uninteresting and hopeless
incorrectly lush looking googleearth snaps
original names , no ?
I should do a checksum but a faulty jpeg should be fairly obvious
if anyone would care to check for correct or problematic download?
please thanks
I'll seed your app 200 meg for feedback
If ACF participants decide to make this an ongoing project we might want
to seed only for Pricelessware authors who request it (a little perk for
our favorite authors).
dunno. . . that may depend on the choices that are offered. I'd rather
download from a torrent than use a link that redirects to Tucows/ Simtel/
download.com etc. etc. IMO *if* people try using uTorrent most of them
will like the process - IOW - I think the number of people downloading
Calendar Magic via the torrent will grow over time if Alex continues to
offer a torrent download.
utorrent is a fairly shallow learning curve
and it has to be available to educate, so I expect I will seed it for
a while, 4 weeks , or more , or until it has 1000 permanently seeding
I wonder if utorrent uses a torrent to update ?
FWIW as a data point. . . Opera offers torrent downloads and their files
are fairly small too (v 8.52 for Windows is 3692 KB).

I know, 12 seeders, it seeded 1:10 ratio after it finished ,
just turned it on again , yup , a couple of dialups from .va .za
jumped in. Maybe they aren't dialups..well I don't see adsl or cable in the
ip name.
