Blocking issue up-grading to win xp

The upgrade report(from Win ME to Win XP) shows that there
is a blocking issue. MS Shared Fax Client must be un-
installed. As far as I know I don't have a Fax
application. Certainly can't find it on Control
Panel,Help,Search or manually. How can I un-install
something I can't find. And why can't Win XP get rid of it
if it is so important.

1. Open up My Computer.
2. Go to Tools, Folder Options.
3. Put a check in "Show hidden files and folders".
4. Click on Start, then Run.
5. Type in: CMD , and hit enter.
6. Type in: cd\ , then hit enter
7. Type in: dir fxsclnt.exe /s
(Remember what directory you found the file in)
8. Type in Exit.
9. Double click on My Computer.
10. Right-click on the C: drive and click on Explorer.
11. Find the directory that housed the fxsclnt.exe.
12. Delete the file and restart.

Now, you should be able to upgrade to Windows XP.

Thanks for your help, but no success. I now have a
situation where MS automatically downloaded an upgrade
through Win Upgrade which contains a file which I can't
find, therefore can't delete, which prevents me loading
another MS programme. How stupid is that!!!!! HELP
