windows xp pcanywhere 10.0 blocking issue

When I try to upgrade from Windows ME to Windows XP
Professional, I get a Blocking Issue message about
Software That Must Be Temporarily Removed, and it
indicates that the software is pcAnywhere 10.0. I have
done everything I can to remove this software, including
editing the register. I can find no evidence of
pcAnywhere 10.0 anywhere on my computer, but when I try to
upgrade to Windows XP, it gives me the Blocking Issue
message again. How can I get rid of this message and go
ahead with the upgrade?

I have followed this to the letter, and I am still having the same problem as
Alutes. I have even printed out the list of files that PCAnywhere installs
and have searched for all of them and non exist anymore. This is getting
very frustrating. Is there some type of switch that I can pass setup to
bypass these compatablitiy checks? What exactly is the XP upgrade looking
for to give this message? It has to be looking for something specifically.

Thanks,
WaltD
