Blaster worm

I am running XP home edition, i recently got the blaster
worm, i managed to remove the worm and install the update,
however i am now missing a couple of files and windows is
not running correctly, is there any way i can replace
these 2 files. I dont want to re-install windows as i
will have to download about 3 hours worth of windows
updates again and im on a 56k dial up connection

Any help would be great, thanks

Im not sure which files are missing, its actualy a friend
who is having the problem, he seems to think that they are
dll files but that is all he has told me!

One way to recover you files if you do not want to re
install your sytstem is the recovery console oprtion but
you need to know exaclty whcih files to recover.
