My notebook computer is loaded with XP Home Edition but
has no backup utility neither is the Home Edition CD
provided. How can I obtain the CD or is there any other
way of doing backups?

Hi

Your PC supplier had to make available to you, a way to return your notebook
back to the state is was in when you first purchased it. Contact them and
ask how you would that - and ask about them supplying you with an XP CD.

Try a Google search for free downloadable backup software.

By default, backup is not installed on XP Home editions. It is on the CD's. If
however you have an OEM then. click on help and support, type in backup to see
if your vendor provided it for you.

Backup is provided on the OEM disc, however, you must
manually install it. Visit

side of page). Good luck getting to work though.
