Back-Up entire Drive

I am thinking about buying True Image Program to back-up my hard drive(C
drive) that has XP on it.. Can I back-up the hard drive(C drive) and
reinstall it on a second hard drive(D drive) that is in my computer. I just
have programs on D. I want to take out the C drive and use only the D drive
because it is a faster drive.

Thank you;

Having an image backup of your OS drive or if programs are installed on
other drives is an excellent idea. I happen to use Ghost 2003 and it has
saved my bacon on many an occasion.

Unless there is a vast difference in the speeds of your HDDs then you will
see little or no difference in performance. Depending on the size of your
drives, you may want to look at partitioning the drives. My master drive is
80gb and it has 3 partitions. C drive contains the OS, D drive is where I
install all my programs, E drive is where I store all my photos. The slave
drive (250gb) also has 3 partitions and all are used for data and images
created by Ghost.

No matter if you decide to change HDDs or not Imaging is still an great
idea. Good luck.
