back up data

Everytime i try to back up my files, it won't work.

I get the message saying: "Windows Backup Utility has
encountered a problem and needs to close. We are sorry
for the inconvenience."

and then the error report contains this:

Error signature
AppName: ntbackup.exe AppVer: 5.1.2600.0 ModName:
ntbackup.exe
ModVer: 5.1.2600.0 Offset: 0006f47a

Help! i don't know what wrong....

Try reinstalling it. Sometimes files become corrupted through no fault of
your own.
