hey,

I'm having some trouble with the autoplay wizard when I
connect my digital camera. which is a sony dsc-p10, by
the way. it used to work fine, and I used the camera and
scanner wizard to copy files to 'my images' folder. but
now there's something amiss. as soon as I connect, the
autoplay wizard still appears, but when i click on
the 'scanner and camera wizard' nothing happens. same
with 'open files in fax and picture viewer'. the other
ones, print, movieshaker they still work, but those two
don't. same thing happens when I insert a cd-rom. can't
open the copy wizard, nor fax and picture viewer. is this
an autoplay wizard problem? can anybody help me out,
please? thanks

Hi,
I have no answer but I have the
same problem when I USB connect
my new Olympus mju 400. Upto last
Thursday, the Scanner & Camera Wizard
automatically came up because it recognised
it as a camera. But yesterday and today,
it is no longer recognised as a camera but
as a 'USB Mass Storage Device' and I cannot
get the Scanner & Camera Wizard to work at
all, and I have to download my photos
another way. It's not a fatal problem,
but it seems strange that 2 Users have
experienced the same thing recently.
The only things I have installed since it
last worked are;

i) DirectX9.0b update
ii) Windows Update Q828026
iii) Creative software updates
to my Audigy card and
applications.

Anything common to both of us in the
above? Hopefully others may have had
this problem, which is not serious but
is annoying.

Regards - Mike

Hey,

nope, I didn't install anything that might have caused
it, it just suddenly refused to work. first I thought I
might have to do with not having enough blank space, but
I cleared out the hard drive and still no go.
