applying notes master

How can I apply the Notes Master to every page:

I have to switch notes page designs around and the easiest way to save
the masters is to have one file for each and import the pages in, but
then I still have to apply it to each page

ISTR that the only way a notes master is applied to all the slides' notes is
if you use File/New to open the template. Or something like that. It's very
obscure, and yes, the notes masters don't seem to work quite like the rest
of the masters.

The upshot is that I don't know that you'll be able to avoid having to apply
the notes master to each slide.

I wonder if Shyam's Handout Wizard would help you through all of these
tasks. http://www.mvps.org/skp/how/

Toolbox has 'Reapply Master on Notes layout' to all slides as one of the

perfect, thanks

what I forgot to mention I cannot apply the master to the presentation
without messing up every page that has a different layout than the master
