Exactly in that order!

Why? Because they are great browser shells. The group feature and tabs are a
feature I can not do without, as is the popup killer.

I agree. Exactly in that order. Although there are many great features
of the other shell browsers, I have yet to see one that MYIE2 does not
already offer.

Seconded. Why? Fast, stable, incredible features, and it's not a
shell for ie.

None of the above are even browsers, they're only shells. Perhaps your
subject line should have been "alternative ways of dressing up IE". If
you're actually interested in alternative *browsers*, check out
Firebird, from http://www.mozilla.org, or K-Meleon from
http://kmeleon.sourveforge.net, or even Opera (yrch!) from I don't
know where.

Sorry - two gaffes in there, the typo in the K-Meleon URL (now fixed),
and including Ad-ware - Opera. Sorry.

All seem to require MS IE. I'd recommend using Mozilla instead-as it doesn't
need IE.

I know that's your vote. But WHY?
Why does being IE based disqualify them from your consideration?
Here's a wild guess...don't quote me on this...but could it possibly be
because he doesn't like IE?

Again, just a wild, out of left-field guess.
