Hi.
I'm a newbie regarding mobile telephones. Bought my first one last week.
One of the simplest ones: Nokia 3120.

I would like to play some games on it, especially Chess, Sudoku, and
solitaire mahjongg (tile-matching).

The trouble is that there is a max. download capacity at 45 KB at the
time. Most mobile games sites don't list the game's size and I have a
lot of times got "download file to big" when trying.

Very irritating especially when they all state that the game is
compatible with Nokia 3120. I have also seen games that requires Java
MIDP 2.0 listed as compatible, when Nokia 3120 only supports v. 1.0... Sigh.

So, anybody know where I can download (either payware or freeware) for
games for Nokia 3120 who is below 45 kb in size and only requires Java
MIDP 1.0?

As said: Especially chess , sudoku, and tile-matching games. Comments
about buying a better mobile telephone is not necessary... :)

Big thanks in advance! :)

Oh bugger. The subject should have been:
"Small games for Nokia 3120 wanted..."

That's my penalty for not looking when I cut-and-paste... :)
Sorry for the misleading subject line, people.

Great! Thanks, Coma. One down, two to go... :)
Size: 42.95 Kb http://phonphun.altervista.org/eng/sudoku.php
To run it on a mobile phone (or PDA), make sure that it supports CLDC 1.0 and MIDP 1.0 (these were the first J2ME specifications to be released, so any device claiming "Java support" should be able to run this game).

Finally found a small and simple chess program:
Spruce Chess 0.6. Downloaded from a chechz site:

OFF TOPIC:
Had to pay to get a solitaire mahjongg (tile-matching) game: FlyJongg

Not very good though... :-(
GetJar was a very good resource, found a lot of free games which I have
downloaded:

But this payware was the best Klondike Solitaire for me:
