All .exe R Now .lnk HELP

On the desktop and in the C: drive all files with the .exe extension now have
..lnk as their extension and can not be run (of course). No viruses have been
found by placing the HD in another PC and testing.

Most shortcuts have the .lnk extension, especially for .exe and some
other extensions.
