.lnk files

All of the exe files on my computer seem to have turned
into .lnk files, and cannot be opened. I can get on the
internet, and all my doc files, jpgs, etc. are fine. Can
anyone help me?

It sounds like you moved some files around?

..lnk means a "Link" to ... . If you select one of the links and
right click it, select Properties, it should tell you where it
thinks the executable is. If it isn't in that location, it
cannot be run.
