Adding a Video File - HOW?

I am trying to add a video file.
I have converted the file from .mov to .avi and made it somewhat
smaller in size, however it will not upload to my site. I have gone
through the INSERT > PICTURES > VIDEO and the hourglass just runs and
runs until the Front Page doesn't respond anymore.

Import it and then create a link to it.

I am trying to put a video in my website without using insert video. I
have a quicktime movie and was wondering how to put it on my website so it
can be viewed in MSIE and NS.

Import it and then create a link to it, that way you are not using Insert Video.
