Active X Problems Please Help!

Matthew

Everytime I try to open up a certain page I get a dialog
box saying "Your current security settings prohibit
running ActiveX controls on this page. As a result, this
page may not display correctly" and then it has an ok
button. When I press the OK button another dialog box pops
up and it says. "You must press OK to enter" and another
OK button, I can press the ok button but it pops up about
1 or 2 more times, and after pressing OK the last time it
pops up my IE browser freezes. I have gone into the
Security tab in "Internet Options" and it says it is
allowing some of the active X things to run and download.
What can I do to fix this?

Hi. I'm having the exact same issues with IE. I have
several other computers and none of these machines seem
have the problem. They have not recently been updated
with windows update, so maybe it has something to do with
a recent security patch? I have tried altering several
ActiveX controls with no luck. I have also tried adding
the particular problem sites to the "trusted sites" list,
but to no avail. The site may pull from various sources,
so I have tried adding all the site's resource pages in
accordance to the IE Privacy report. Still no luck. Has
anyone found a solution to this problem? Many thanks,

Justin.
