Activating Windows XP when it has already been activated

I received a drive from Gateway with Windows XP Professional already
installed on it. After I installed the drive in the PC, it tells me I have
30 days to activate it. When I click on the activation icon, I am told that
Windows XP is already activated. Later in the day, it will tell me again
that I have 30 days to activate Windows.

Any ideas on how to stop this behavior?

Thanks,

John

First, this drive from Gateway, must be used in the corresponding Gateway PC
and not in any other.

Call Gateway since this version of XP is OEM and they are your first level of
support.
