Activate Real-Time

The Internet Status Agent shows as inactive, and clicking
activate does not activate it. What steps beed to be done
to accomplish this?

Also, on the summary page, it shows 2 of 3 agents are
active. But When I click on Manage Security Agents, it
shows all 3 active. Is this a glitch?

Try these two solutions:

1) do an update install--control panel, add or remove
programs, Microsoft Antispyware, change, update.

Then, try these steps:

1) Open up a command prompt (start -> run -> type in ->
command)
2) Type in the following "regsvr32 msvbvm60.dll" (without
the quotes).
3) Close and re-open Windows AntiSpyware

You can go ahead and do both of these--neither has any
downside risk--and see if that does the job. Let us know
whether it does, or not!

Sometimes, you have to try 2 o 3 times with MSAS, in
order to stick the selection, try.

Good luck

This worked for me on XP. I noticed the same thing a
couple of days ago. I actually re-installed a couple of
times and it worked for a short time then stopped. I
will be curious as to if this keeps going or stops also.

Back again. It did help some but it is turning off
again. At least now I can click activate to restart but
I can't keep it running.
