When I click on windows updates it starts but then as soon
as I can click "scan for updates" it jumps to
about:blank. I know I must have gotten hijacked but I
don't know the way to remove this one. First I wanted to
update IE then do my search for this. Thanks for any help.

Find and download the program HIJACKTHIS. This program
show the hijacker. This hijacker write a "dll" in the
directory \winnt\system32. The file "dll" is in line RD1
show by HIJACKTHIS. Don´t forget to delete the lines in
the register of content "res://..."
