Hi
I do not use the windows mail program in my laptop, I use Incredimail. I
send from my Shaw.ca email address. I belong to a club and may send to 8-12
recipients at the same time or more even. When I send a mail the mails go to
people from different service providers, such as telus.net, shaw.ca,
hotmail.com etc. But in the last few weeks I have been receiving the
following mail delivery delay message for 1 or 2 or 3 of the contacts sent
to when I send mail to 8 or more;
This is an automatically generated Delivery Status Notification.

THIS IS A WARNING MESSAGE ONLY.

YOU DO NOT NEED TO RESEND YOUR MESSAGE.

Delivery to the following recipients has been delayed.

<address deleted by me>

The reason for the problem:
4.3.2 - Not accepting messages at this time 421-'RP-001 The mail server IP
connecting to Windows Live Hotmail server has exceeded the rate limit
allowed. Reason for rate limitation is related to IP/domain reputation
problems. If you are not an email/network admin please contact your
E-mail/Internet Service Provider for help. Email/network admins, please visit

I have called my service provider, Shaw, and they assure me I am not flagged
for spam on their end and they have no idea why I am all of a sudden
receiving this.
So I am not sending from hotmail or windows live mail but I am receiving
mail delivery warnings from them ??
I don't understand this and should not be marked as a spammer by any service
that I am aware of so why am I getting this?
Any help appreciated, thanks
Crystal

What winston said.

If you're sending many messages to many Hotmail addresses, the Hotmail
servers may be identifying you as a spammer.

This has absolutely nothing to do with the Windows Mail program.
You are receiving a warning from the Hotmail server. Perhaps the
Hotmail experts will have some suggestions. Please post to the news-
group for Hotmail issues. I am crossposting this to that newsgroup:

My problem just started 3 weeks ago.
I don't think it has to do with SPAM but possibly someone trying to get
access to your computer to send multi e-mails via your computer without your
knowing.

The name that keeps coming up on my computer is " k (e-mail address removed). "
Never heard of this name - ever.
I have been shutting down computer when I get this.

Someone out there has to know the cause/ solution??

You haven't really described exactly what is happening.
I don't know what you mean by "The name that keeps coming up on my computer..."
We can only deal with problems directly related to the Windows Mail program, so
you have to describe issues in terms of using that program.

Crystal & Gary - I am having exactly the same problem and "I have no-one " in my contacts/ address book who even has a hotmail
account or address. I also spoke to Shaw to no avail??
