ZoneAlarm issues

Today I contacted TimeWarner Road Runner (my isp) because I wasn’t getting
into my email or onto the internet. The rep said that in the last couple of
days, XP-based computers that use the ZoneAlarm firewall have been unable to
connect to the internet, ever since the latest Microsoft automatic update was
installed. To test this, I disabled ZA, and immediately got connected. In
what way is Microsoft messing with ZA? And what can I do to fix the
situation (I have temporarily turned on the Microsoft firewall).

If you want info on the problem, do a Google search for Zone Alarm and KB951748.
If all you want to do is fix the problem, download and install the latest
version of ZoneAlarm
